CEO
Trent Merrill
Prior to co-founding Triple R Group in 2012, Trent spent 8 years as the SVP of Real Estate and Construction at Liz Claiborne, responsible for real estate at Juicy Couture, Lucky Brand Jeans, Kate Spade, Jack Spade, Kensie, prAna, and several other brands.
Trent also served as EVP of Lucky Brand Jeans for 7 years, and oversaw its retail portfolio expansion from 2 to 125 stores. Trent structured and negotiated the sale of Lucky Brand to Liz Claiborne in 1999.
Before Lucky Brand, Trent was the Executive Vice President of Pour le Bebe, Inc. (Baby Guess) and prior to that, he was Co-Managing Partner of Stonefield Josephson, a regional CPA Firm specializing in the apparel and retail industries.
Trent is a Founder and Director of American Business Bank where he continues to serve on the bank’s Board of Directors.

Sarah Schutter
Prior to Triple R, Sarah worked as a Real Estate Representative at Liz Claiborne, managing site selection searches of both commercial and retail locations in the U.S. and Canada. Sarah also sourced and negotiated retail real estate locations for Kate Spade, Juicy Couture, Lucky Brand Jeans, and Jack Spade.
She played an integral role in the negotiation and disposition of ninety Liz Claiborne locations nationwide.
Joining the Real Estate Industry in 2005 as a licensed REALTOR, Sarah was involved in the marketing and sale of high-end residential properties in the Los Angeles market.
Sarah graduated in 2004 from University of California, Santa Cruz with a B.A. in Business Management Economics.
In 2008, she received the Professional Designation in Product Development and Merchandising from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising. In addition to her Real Estate background, Sarah has four years of retail management experience and has assisted in the opening of several local and well-known national retail chains.

Alyssa Case, RA, LEED AP
Alyssa supports a diverse portfolio of retail clients through all stages of the real estate lifecycle including data and analytics, site visits, and special projects.
With a focus on site selection and space evaluation, Alyssa approaches opportunities with a keen understanding of brand identity and market dynamics.
Prior to Triple R, Alyssa worked in-house for several well-known retail brands such as Faherty, SoulCycle, and Shake Shack. At Faherty, Alyssa played a pivotal role on the development team helping to guide their real estate strategy and contributing to their store fleet, which doubled in size in just two years. During her time at SoulCycle, she focused on their rapid studio expansion, contributing to the brand's growth from 17 to 100 studios globally.
Alyssa holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Miami and is a licensed architect and LEED AP BD+C. Her early architecture career involved working on significant large-scale transit and transportation projects across the U.S. Alyssa is based on the east coast which allows quicker response on site visits in the eastern states when an in-person visit is important.

Brian R. Dwan
Brian focuses on sourcing and negotiating key real estate opportunities for Triple R clients.
Prior to joining Triple R in 2012, Brian worked in various real estate management capacities with several national and international retail brands including Liz Claiborne, Guess, Guess Accessories, Guess Kids, Relax The Back, Swatch and The Body Shop. Brian started his career in retail with Laura Ashley where he held the position of Project Manager, overseeing the growth of Laura Ashley, Laura Ashley Home, and Laura Ashley Mother and Child concepts.

Lauren Farrell
Lauren provides research, analytics, and sourcing support for Triple R clients working closely with other team members to deliver on key client initiatives.
Before joining Triple R, Lauren spent 10 years with Liz Claiborne where she oversaw the site selection of both specialty and outlet retail locations in the U.S., Canada, and Puerto Rico. In addition, Lauren sourced and negotiated real estate locations for Kate Spade, Juicy Couture, Lucky Brand Jeans, and Jack Spade.
Prior to her career at Liz Claiborne, Lauren resided in London, where she worked for Parliament as a research analyst after graduating from California State University, Long Beach with a BA in Political Science & International Relations.

Kevin Hui
Kevin has spent over a decade in the AEC sector working for several designers, engineers, and builders. With a strong foundation in architecture and construction management, Kevin brings a unique blend of technical expertise with a results-driven approach to find and assess appropriate retail opportunities. Combined with an analytical approach, he is instrumental in supporting our team and looks for innovative solutions to meet the diverse needs of our clients.
A graduate of the University of California, Berkeley with a degree in Architecture, Kevin began his career as a finish carpenter with Habitat for Humanity in conjunction with AmeriCorps, eventually advancing to Team Lead. Over the years, Kevin has held critical roles in design and construction, including Architectural Product Designer, Job Captain, and Senior Project Manager. His broad experience has been integral to the success of numerous private, residential, and commercial projects.
